Assessing Campaign Readiness: JKPCC President Holds Meeting Ahead of Raman Bhalla's Nomination Filing

Jammu, 28-03-2024 : The President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vikar Rasool Wani, convened a comprehensive review meeting today to assess the preparations for the upcoming rally on April 2nd, which marks the filing of nomination papers by Raman Bhalla, the Congress nominee, before the Returning Officer in Jammu.

Attended by a gathering of senior leaders from the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents, and leaders from various frontal wings across the Jammu Rural, Samba, and Reasi districts, along with representatives from 18 Assembly Constituencies, the meeting scrutinized the logistical arrangements required for the active participation of constituents from diverse areas and assembly segments on the crucial day of Raman Bhalla’s nomination filing.

In addition to deliberating on campaign strategies within the Samba-Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary constituency, the attendees emphasized the need for seamless coordination with alliance partners. Special emphasis was placed on the coordination among different teams tasked with covering the entire constituency within the allotted timeframe.

Addressing the party functionaries, JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani underscored the imperative to intensify the election campaign, urging them to expose the ruling party’s governance shortcomings and failures across various fronts. He stressed the importance of party leaders reaching out to constituents residing in remote, mountainous regions, as well as urban and semi-urban localities, while amplifying the electoral outreach efforts. Wani highlighted the electorate’s resolve in Jammu and Kashmir to provide a fitting response to the BJP in the forthcoming elections.
