JSHB Notice to Dhoni Over Alleged Commercial Use of Residential Plot

Ranchi, Feb 28: The Jharkhand State Housing Board has served a notice to former India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni over alleged misuse of a residential property in Ranchi, officials confirmed on Friday.

According to authorities, the plot was originally allotted for residential purposes but was found to be used for commercial activities, prompting action by the board.

JSHB chairman Sanjay Lal Paswan said the violation came to light during an inquiry. “A residential plot was allotted to cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but it was found to be used for commercial purposes. A notice has been issued for violation of rules and norms,” he stated.

Officials added that a final notice has now been served, citing breach of housing regulations.
