Bengaluru, Dec 29: The television industry was rocked by the sudden death of Kannada and Tamil TV actress Nandini CM, aged 26. Nandini, known for her captivating performances in popular daily serials, was found dead at a paying guest accommodation in Mylasandra, Kengeri, Bengaluru.
According to police, the incident occurred late at night between 11:16 pm on December 28 and 12:30 am on December 29, 2025. The PG staff discovered her unresponsive in her room the next morning after a friend raised the alarm. Police confirmed her death at the scene.
Investigators found a diary in Nandini’s room, reflecting her determination to pursue her acting career. Her mother, GR Basavarajeshwari, filed a complaint to ensure the proper legal process is followed. Police have indicated that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Nandini CM gained recognition in Kannada and Tamil television with roles in serials such as Jeeva Hoovagide, Sangharsha, and Gowri. Her performance in the Tamil serial Gowri, where she portrayed contrasting characters, won her acclaim among viewers.
The case is being investigated by PSI Hanamantha Hadimani. Authorities are continuing their inquiry, and further details are awaited.
