Karnataka Poll Results Indicate the Decline of BJP at the Center: Raman Bhalla

15-05-2023 :  JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla, along with former Minister Yogesh Sawhney, led party workers in a celebration of the Karnataka election victory. The event, organized by Sandeep Dogra at Satwari Chowk, highlighted the significance of the Congress’ triumph in Karnataka as a fitting response to the arrogant BJP government at the Center. Bhalla expressed that there was strong resentment among people towards the BJP due to their treatment of the Gandhi family.

The suspension of Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership and the request for him to vacate his house had angered the people of Karnataka. The public’s discontent is reflected in the results of the Assembly elections. Bhalla declared that the outcome marked the beginning of the end for the BJP at the national level. He also reminded everyone that the BJP had lost Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra but managed to attain power through horse-trading of MLAs. However, he emphasized that the people of the country had repeatedly rejected the BJP in elections.

Bhalla further stated, “The people of Karnataka have shown the door to divisive and hateful forces that sought to undermine the fundamental principles of the Constitution. This victory is not just for the state but also holds the promise of change across the nation. It serves as a beacon of hope for those who believe in secular forces. If all secular forces unite, 2024 will witness the end of BJP rule.”

Yogesh Sawhney attributed the Congress’ victory in Karnataka to the impact of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. He also credited the central and local leaders who campaigned tirelessly for the party. Sawhney viewed the victory as a triumph of democracy.

Prominent leaders present at the celebration included Satish Sharma, Dewarka Choudhary, Aman Bawa, Sandeep Singh, Anil Raina, Santok Singh, Devraj Kanojia, and others.

Similar jubilations were organized by DCC Rural Jammu, led by Th Hari Singh Chib, in the presence of former Minister Mula Ram and PYC president Uday Chib in Ploura recently. Congress workers were treated to sweets, and the atmosphere was filled with drum beats and dancing. The leaders expressed that the Karnataka elections have set an example for other states, sending a clear message that the politics of division and hatred have been rejected by the people of the country.
