Karra asks PM Modi to step down for surrender before US

Cong to hold  district wise protests against US deal on March 9
  • Bhalla seeks early restoration of statehood , resolution of refugees issues

    R S Pura , March 6-  – JkPCC President Shri Tariq Hameed Karra today sought the resignation of Prime Minister Narender Modi for his surrender before US President Donald Trump and compromising the dignity, honour and interests of the nation in the US trade deal and succumbing to US pressures over foreign policy.

    Addressing an anti-US trade deal rally in  R S pura today , Shri Karra opposed the deal, terming it anti-farmers, and against the interests of the country. He alleged that PM Modi has surrendered before the US due to fear of secrets in the Epstein files and the Adani case in the US. So much so ,he couldn’t condemn the assassination of the head of Iran and a famous religious leader by the US and Israel, whereas Iran has always helped India in crisis.

    This is very embarrassing for our country and against the established foreign policy of India. The country has lost all good friends in the world under Modi and times ahead would be difficult for our country.

    JKPCC Chief said that Rahul Gandhi has rightly pointed out that PM Modi is compromised for fear of the Epstein files and case against his friend Adani in US and the country’s interests are under stake under him. He said that Congress would strongly oppose this anti-farmer deal and hold protests on March 9th at all district Hqs in J&K, on the opening day of Parliament. He said that JK Congress will also plan a yatra in J&K to oppose the deal and for the restoration of statehood.

He also referred to the issues of refugees of 1947, 1965 & 1971 and said that Congress would press for implementation of full package for them and resolution of reservation issues. He also committed Congress support for including Punjabi as an official language in J&K. He appreciated the JKPCC Minority Cell Chairman Rajinder Singh Nathu for organizing the rally under the guidance of Raman Bhalla.

Besides Working President Raman Bhalla, Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Former MP T S Bajwa, DCC President Jammu Rural Neeraj Kundan, T S Tony, Amrit Bali, Satish Sharma, Rajinder singh, Rajveer Singh, Iqbal Dar, and BCC Presidents Gurmeet Singh, Yashpal, Gurmeet Singh, Pawan Bhagat, Viyant Pathania, and Mangal Bral, amongst others, attended & addressed the gathering.
Several youth joined Congress on the occasion.

Working President Raman Bhalla criticized the India trade deal, seeking its immediate rollback, terming it against the interests of countrymen, especially farmers and fruit growers.

Bhalla said that a false promise of restoration of statehood was made by Modi government on the floor of the house six years ago but not fulfilled. He said Congress continues to fight for it but  all BJP MLAs and MPs are maintaining criminal silence over the issue.He said that Congress will oppose the anti-people policies of the BJP government and its failures on all fronts.

He referred to the issues of refugees and said that the Congress party framed a package and sent to centre but the BJP only shed crocodile tears but didn’t implement it. He thanked PCC President for raising the issue of refugees in the Assembly and urged the passing of a resolution for full implementation of 2014 package and other issues of reservations without delay.

Rajinder Singh Nathu expressed gratitude to the farmers and others for their wholehearted support to the issues raised by Congress party and asked them to be prepared for long drawn struggle for the rights of poor youth and to seek restoration of statehood.
