JAMMU, March 4: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, has strongly condemned the Indian National Developmental Inclusive (INDI) Alliance for its reprehensible remarks made by former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Pertinent to mention here that Lalu Prasad Yadav, during an INDI rally in Patna, has stooped to new lows by making derogatory comments about Prime Minister Modi’s personal life and religiosity.
Kavinder Gupta, in response, stated that the INDI Alliance’s narrow-mindedness is evident in their inability to perceive anyone beyond familial ties, a fact underscored by Lalu Yadav’s offensive remarks. He emphasized that the nation will not forget Yadav’s blatant disrespect towards Prime Minister Modi, who has devoted his whole life to serving the 140 crore people of India.
In a symbolic gesture, Gupta has updated his social media profile to include “Modi ka Parivaar” (Modi’s family), highlighting his unwavering support for the Prime Minister and his vision for the nation.
Kavinder termed the opposition’s remarks as indicative of their frustration and desperation. He condemned the trend of resorting to personal attacks, attributing them to jealousy, malice, and an inferiority complex stemming from repeated electoral defeats. He asserted that such vitriolic rhetoric has no place in Indian politics and reflects poorly on the integrity of the opposition leaders.
Recalling the 2019 Parliamentary elections, Kavinder reminded that similar derogatory remarks were made against PM Modi with the “Chowkidar” comment. However, the resounding victory of Narendra Modi in the elections was a clear rebuke to such negativity. He expressed confidence that the people of country would once again deliver a fitting response to the opposition by re-electing Narendra Modi for a third consecutive term as Prime Minister.
As the nation gears up for the upcoming elections, Kavinder affirmed that the BJP remains committed to advancing the welfare and prosperity of all citizens, guided by the principles of good governance and inclusive development.
