12-12-2020:In order generates the category wise database of the estimated 3.3 lakh population of District for universal administration of COVID-19 Vaccine among the target group District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today sensitized the Booth level Officers and other staff in a meeting held here in a meeting held at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Mini secretariat Kishtwar.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner kishtwar Pawan Parihar, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishore Singh Katoch, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Dr. Amir Hussain, Chief Medical officer Kishtwar Dr R S Manhass, DSWO kishtwar Tariq Parveaz Qazi, Dy S P Headquarters Kishtwar Devender Kumar, Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar Anoop Kumar, Chief Education officer Kishtwar Ashok Kumar, BLOs and other officials among others.
At the outset DDC briefed the participants about the various aspects of the COVID-19 Vaccine rolled out and informed them about various modalities for the collection, storage, distribution and inoculation of the vaccine.
He further informed that about 118 vaccination booths have been identified across the district.
Besides this, some mobile booths shall be established.
The category wise database of projected 3.3 lakh population of the district shall first be maintained for which teams with the composition of ASHA Worker, Anganwadi Worker, BLO and 2 to 3 staff from education or other departments shall be constituted.
The teams shall be mandated first to maintained the category wise database of the population surveyed and then to administer Vaccine as per the identified priority groups.
The data captured during Swastha Nidi survey shall be used besides the teams already constituted for Swastha Nidhi Survey shall be reactivated and used for this assignment, DDC added.
He also asked the participants to capture the proper and accurate details of the entire population considering it not only as govt duty but a social responsibility also so that no one is left from the vaccination by the carelessness of the surveying team.
The four categories of priority groups to identified include the Health workers, Frontline workers who are directly linked with the management of COVID-19 pandemic, the persons above the age of 50 years or with comorbidity and the general public.
It was further informed that the format for capturing the data shall be circulated among the teams besides DDC stressed on accurate capturing of Aadhar data so that entries on COVIN software are uploaded without any hiccups.
