KISHTWAR, OCTOBER 18: The Adjudicating Officer (ADM), Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma today imposed a fine of Rs 18 thousands on Food Business Operators including retailer and supplier for violating the prescribed provisions/norms of Food Safety and Standard Act 2006 & Rules and Regulations 2011 made there under FSSA.
The complaints were filed before the Court of Adjudicating Officer/ADM Kishtwar against the FBOs for violating provisions of FSSA. The court had served the summons to both parties included in complaint/cases.
Today, the parties appeared before the court where Adjudicating Officer Kishtwar heard the concerned Food Safety Officer and Non-Complainants.
The Non-Complainant party felt guilty for violating the provision 26(2)/51/52 of FSSA on which Adjudicating Officer Kishtwar imposed a fine of Rs18000 under general provisions of 49 of FSSA to 4 Food Business Operators (Non-Complainants).
