KPI Green Energy’s Installed Capacity Climbs to 965 MWp

Company adds significant solar and wind projects after securing grid approval for energisation

New Delhi: KPI Green Energy on Tuesday announced that its total energised capacity has reached 965 megawatt peak (MWp), reflecting a major expansion in its renewable energy portfolio.

The company said it recently added 376 MWp of solar and wind power projects after receiving necessary approvals to connect them to the grid. Energisation marks a key milestone, allowing renewable energy installations to begin supplying electricity commercially.

According to the firm, the latest addition strengthens its position in the clean energy sector and aligns with its growth strategy focused on scaling up sustainable power generation.

Grid approval for such projects is granted only after meeting regulatory and technical requirements set by authorities, ensuring seamless integration into the power network.

The development underscores the continued momentum in India’s renewable energy space, with companies accelerating capacity additions to meet rising demand and support the transition towards greener energy sources.
