Mumbai, Feb 25 : On The 50, Krishna Shroff shared the intimate story of how she met her Afghan boyfriend, a professional MMA fighter, in a most unexpected way. Their first encounter wasn’t glamorous it happened during one of his fights in Mumbai. At that time, neither of them expected a relationship to develop. “Neither of us thought we were going to be together,” Krishna revealed. “But we connected on some kind of frequency.”
The connection deepened when they met again in Goa, but it was at the airport during their farewell that their emotions truly surfaced. Both broke down in tears, realizing the depth of their bond. Krishna described their journey as “mad” and hinted at experiences too personal and intense to share on camera, emphasizing how love can sometimes emerge naturally when two people’s frequencies align.
Krishna also recounted how their relationship began online. They started talking in November 2020, with their first in-person meeting in May 2021 after eight months of conversations. He eventually moved to Mumbai to be with her. Reflecting on their bond, she said, “He is from Afghanistan and is a professional MMA fighter. I like strong men. He had challenged me. I like alpha men.”
