LEH, Jan 6: The Ladakh Power Development Department has issued a directive to shift all government electricity connections with smart meters from postpaid to prepaid mode, effective February 1, 2026. The move aims to streamline billing, improve payment efficiency, and reduce outstanding dues across government offices and institutions in the Union Territory.
