JAMMU, Feb 18: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for sealing a spot in the Ranji Trophy final after a commanding semi final performance.
In a message shared on X, the LG’s office described the victory as a landmark moment in the Union Territory’s sporting journey, saying the players have written a “new golden chapter” in J&K’s cricket history.
Sinha said the entire region is proud of the team’s outstanding display and expressed confidence that they will carry forward the same determination and spirit into the summit clash.
He added that the achievement reflects the growing strength of cricket in the Union Territory and wished the squad continued success in the final showdown.
