Srinagar, Sep 17: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday virtually inaugurated a Bailey Bridge on the Ramban-Gool road, calling it a lifeline for nearly 1.5 lakh people residing in Ramban, Sangaldan, and Gool areas.
In a post on X, LG Sinha stated that the bridge will significantly improve connectivity, ease daily commuting, and provide relief to residents who had been affected by recent natural calamities that caused damage to infrastructure, economic hardships, and disruption of this vital route.
He lauded the Army engineers for their tireless efforts in constructing the bridge under challenging conditions. “This Bailey Bridge is a testament to the expertise, commitment, and service of the Indian Army. The vital connectivity has given new hope to the entire region,” LG Sinha added.
