Srinagar, Sep 17: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said that India is advancing at an unprecedented pace under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The LG made the remarks during his visit to JLNM Hospital Srinagar, where he distributed fruits to patients as part of the ongoing “Sewa Pakhwada” campaign.
Speaking to reporters, LG Sinha noted, “Today marks the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Across the country, from September 17 to October 2, this period is being observed as ‘Sewa Pakhwada,’ concluding on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.”
He added that the J&K administration is actively participating in the initiative, with a special focus on women’s health and welfare. Highlighting the impact of the Prime Minister’s tenure, he said, “The greatest need of the nation was economic development, and today its benefits are reaching villages, rural communities, and the poor. PM Modi’s dedicated service over the past 10–11 years has brought immense transformation and progress.”
