07-06-2023 : Continuing to provide better development as well as basic amenities to the people of Jammu, Jammu Deputy Baldev Singh Billawaria dedicated the development works at Jwala Ji Colony, Ward 56, Gangyal in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency.
With the completion of these development works of lane, drain, and the covering of the drain with grating work was also done. A thanksgiving ceremony was also organized by the local residents for getting this development work done on priority. The local residents also expressed their gratitude to Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria for fulfilling their long-pending demand. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that Jwala ji colony will continue to do development work for the betterment of the people. He said that this development work was completed ahead of schedule and it was a long pending demand of the local people and now this demand has been fulfilled. He said that this lane and drain is adjacent to other lanes of the ward, now with the construction of this lane there will be relief from the problem of water logging in the rainy season.
Deputy Mayor Jammu said that we have got a lot of development work done in Ward No. 56, due to which it has emerged as a model ward. The Deputy Mayor of Jammu said that in the last four and a half years crores of rupees have been spent on development works to change the face of the ward. Some of the major projects completed in Ward in the last four and a half years include the construction of new roads, installation of street lights, provision of better waste management services, and setting up of community halls and children’s play parks. He assured the people of the ward that whatever other problems remained, they will also be completed with priority. He said that the development work would be continued with the cooperation of the residents of the ward.
The Deputy Mayor of Jammu said that the Jammu Municipal Corporation is taking all necessary steps to ensure that the citizens get the facilities at their doorstep. He said that the Corporation is committed to providing the best possible services to the citizens of the temple city of Jammu and developing all areas. He said that the Jammu Municipal Corporation is working on the policy of Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi’s motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas”. Mandal President Ranjit Singh, Harbans Chaudhary, Rakesh Sangral, Jugal Kishore, Sunil Sharma, Surjit Kumar, Surendra Jamwal, ML Raina, Dev Raj Sharma, Pawan Chib, KD Singh, Sohan Singh Katal, Suresh Moton and others were present.
