Tirupati, Dec 13: Superstar Rajinikanth, who turned 75 on Friday, visited the renowned Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday to offer prayers, accompanied by his family, including daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya.
The visit came on the heels of a grand celebration of his milestone birthday, with fans and celebrities alike pouring in wishes for the legendary actor. Prominent stars such as Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal extended their greetings, highlighting Rajinikanth’s 50 years of iconic cinema and remarkable life.
Kamal Haasan wrote, “75 years of a remarkable life. 50 years of legendary cinema. Happy birthday, my friend @rajinikanth.” Malayalam superstar Mohanlal echoed similar sentiments on social media. Actress and producer Khushbu Sundar praised him as “God’s favourite child,” lauding his dedication, perseverance, and humility. Director Karthik Subbaraj and actor Harish Kalyan also shared heartfelt wishes, celebrating Rajinikanth’s influence on fans and the film industry.
Earlier, Rajinikanth marked his birthday on the sets of director Nelson’s highly anticipated action thriller Jailer 2. Sun Pictures, the film’s production house, shared a video of the cake-cutting ceremony, showing the superstar being felicitated by the core team, including Nelson, before returning to his caravan.
