Washington: Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browser is going to retire after 26 years of travel. It will become history after 15 June 2022. Bill Gates’s company has made its official announcement. Microsoft Edge will replace Explorer after it is shut down.

Internet Explorer was Microsoft’s first most successful browser. Apart from this, it was the first free browser, which was taken up by people and it changed the world of the Internet itself.

After launching, 95% of the world’s users used it for about 10 years. But currently, its users are not even 10 percent left. Actually, when it launched, fewer people had internet. They also had problems working. After the arrival of this browser, the work became easy.

Its popularity continued to grow. It played a huge role in getting the police records, providing the students with the material. Then came many social media platforms in the market. After which its use increased. Government agencies and financial institutions are said to be still using Internet Explorer. Microsoft released it on 16 August 1995.

This was followed by the launch of Mozilla Firefox in 2002, which reduced the Explorer’s popularity. During this time, the users of Explorer were left at 50%. Then in 2008 Google Chrome was launched, which ended Explorer. Today, most of the users in the world belong to Google Chrome.

Internet Explorer comes preinstalled on all computers and laptops in the world. But Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox updated themselves constantly. Chrome has Google Translate, many extensions, and many modes. Many things are completed with a single click. At the same time, Explorer does not have these features.
