Modi Govt’s nine years a basket full of achievements: Kavinder

JAMMU,13-06-2023: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday termed the nine years tenure of the Modi Government in office as a basket full of achievements.
He was addressing a small gathering during an interaction with ace table tennis player and present Indian team selector Satbir Singh.
Kavinder said that under BJP’s Maha Jan    Sampark Abhiyan, the party leadership is holding interactions with veteran leaders of the party, prominent personalities, and eminent sportspersons of the region. In this regard, the party leaders had visited Satbir Singh to dwell on the achievements made during the last nine years of the Modi regime.
Kavinder termed the meeting as very fruitful and said during the aforesaid meetings with prominent personalities various significant and knowledgable facts of BJP’s feat have come to the fore making a strong bond of new workers with the party.
 It is pertinent to mention that Satbir Singh had represented J&K for more than 15 years in table tennis from 1979 to 1994 and also in 1997. He was India’s top-notched player in the sub-junior category and was the national champion in the 1980s nationals in Bengaluru. He also won the junior doubles national title in 1983. He had also played for India in 1982 at Ankara in the world junior championship and won gold for India. He played for India in senior against Japan in Lucknow in the years 1984 and 1985. He had also represented Delhi for two years. A student of Nagbani School Jammu till 10th class and thereafter joined Modern School Delhi and completed studies up to class 12th. He completed graduation from SRCC in B. Com (honours) in 1986.
