JAMMU : Senior Congress leader and former minister and three-time MLA Bhaderwah Mohd Sharief Naiz, a close associate of Leader in Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, died in GMC Jammu today afternoon following a long spell of illness. He was 69 years. Many on social media, including Politicians, social workers, Youth, and religious leaders expressed their condolences.
Naiz shall be remembered for taking various developmental and pro-people steps for the overall development of Bhaderwah constituency during his tenure as a Power and Law minister. “Deeply pained by the passing away of veteran Congress leader & former Minister, Mohd Sharief Naiz He served the Bhaderwah constituency in several capacities including the teacher, MLA, MLC and remained minister of Law and Power Development Department. He distinguished himself as an effective Minister and Member Legislative assembly” Advocate Mohd Majid Malik said .
