Movement Kalki Celebrates International Women’s Day, Honours Women Achievers in Jammu

Jammu: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Movement Kalki – The Future Thinkers organized a grand programme at Arya Samaj Mandir, Jammu, to celebrate and honour women for their remarkable contributions in different fields.
The programme began with the felicitation of the Chief Guests, followed by the national song and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, marking the formal inauguration of the event.
During the programme, young children from Arya Samaj Mandir presented cultural performances which were highly appreciated by the audience. On this occasion, Mahira Tandon also shared her thoughts and captivated the audience with her inspiring words.
Addressing the gathering, Deepak Singh, Founder of Movement Kalki, said that the primary objective of the organization is to establish Dharma in society and eliminate Adharma. He emphasized that women play a very important role in shaping society and it is essential to make them aware of their strength and potential.
He further stated that exploitation of women and wrong intentions towards them push society towards darkness. Looking at history, women have faced exploitation and harassment for a long time, which has contributed to moral decline in society. He urged people to remain aware and respectful towards women and to stand firmly against any injustice.
On the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Ajay Sharma, SP South, said that it is the moral responsibility of every citizen not only to respect women but also to stand with them so that no one dares to commit any wrongdoing against them.
Another Chief Guest, Dr. Nirmal Kamal Gupta, Former Chairman, Social Welfare Board, said that he has closely witnessed the struggles of women in society. While women empowerment is often discussed, implementing it on the ground remains a challenge. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to overcome these challenges and establish a balanced and progressive society.
