New Delhi, October 25: Infuriated over the killings of 10 people including two soldiers by militants in Kashmir, Senior BJP leader and MP Rajya Sabha, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana has called for stringent action, implying that the situation demands another surgical strike at terrorists’ camp and launching pads.
Khatana pointed out that the Indian armed forces are fully equipped to respond to threats and that recent attacks will not go unanswered.
In the past seven days, four terrorist attacks have disrupted peace in Kashmir, resulting in the tragic deaths of 10 civilians and two soldiers. Expressing deep condolences, Khatana paid tribute to the Indian Army soldiers and the porters who lost their lives in a recent militant attack in Gulmarg. He condemned the cowardly acts targeting unarmed civilians and frontline workers, stressing that such acts would only strengthen India’s resolve to eliminate terrorism.
“Our government and security forces are capable enough to eradicate terrorism from our soil, and no stone is being left unturned,” said Khatana. He asserted that history has shown how terrorists venturing into Indian territory face certain consequences, underscoring that recent perpetrators would meet the same fate. “Thousands have come and been eliminated by our forces, and those involved in recent attacks will face the same outcome,” he added, reaffirming India’s commitment to safeguarding its citizens and ensuring peace in Kashmir.
