Ms Anoo Malhotra Engages at Shri Amarnathji Yatra SAYWS Langar; Deepening Connections with Pilgrims

Recognizing Excellence: Ms Anoo Malhotra Honored for Acknowledging SAYWS Services

16-07-2023 : Ms Anoo Malhotra embarked on a meaningful journey to the langar of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra Welfare Society (SAYWS). The langar, situated opposite Saraswati Dham at the Railway Station, serves as a sanctuary for the pilgrims who partake in the sacred Amarnathji Yatra. During her visit, Ms. Malhotra engaged in heartfelt interactions with the pilgrims, taking note of the facilities and services provided to them.

 Ms. Malhotra not only observed the diligent efforts of the SAYWS but also actively participated in serving langar to the devoted pilgrims. Impressed by the commendable services offered by SAYWS, she expressed her appreciation for their unwavering dedication and commitment.

As a token of gratitude and admiration, the office bearers of SAYWS took the opportunity to honor Ms Anoo Malhotra. They presented her with a precious photograph capturing the naturally formed Ice-Lingam of Baba Amarnathji, a sacred symbol of divine presence. The esteemed guests accompanying Ms. Malhotra during this memorable visit included Sh Neeraj Mahajan, President of the Hardware & Sanitary Association, Suraj Singh, a renowned businessman, and social activist, as well as Dr. Goutam Goel.

In response to this gracious gesture, Sh Kiran Wattal, the President of SAYWS, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the guests for taking the time to visit and providing them with a brief overview of the society’s significant endeavors. He highlighted the multifaceted activities undertaken by SAYWS to cater to the needs of the pilgrims and ensure their well-being throughout the arduous journey.

Sh Anil Gupta, the Senior Vice President of SAYWS, emphasized the organization’s unwavering commitment to maintaining cleanliness at the langar. He proudly shared that packaged drinking water bottles were made available to the pilgrims, ensuring their hydration and convenience. In addition, he expressed deep appreciation for the relentless efforts of the administration and police personnel who worked tirelessly to provide round-the-clock services to the pilgrims. Sh Anil Gupta also extended his gratitude to the media for their timely dissemination of information, contributing to a smoother and more informed pilgrimage experience.

It was further highlighted that SAYWS, driven solely by the support of its dedicated office bearers, selflessly managed the langar without relying on external contributions. Each day, approximately 3,000 to 4,000 pilgrims were blessed with the nourishment provided at the SAYWS venue. Sh Anil Gupta took the opportunity to extend his sincere thanks to Neeraj Mahajan, Suraj Singh, and Dr. Goutam Goel for their invaluable support.

The event witnessed the presence of prominent personalities within SAYWS, including Sh Anil Gupta, Senior Vice President, Prem Ji, General Secretary, Kamal Ganjoo, Ashok Sharma Ji, and several others who graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
