Mulla Ram dedicates Kabir Bhawan to devotees; leaders praise Joginder Lal Bhagat’s efforts to spread Sant Kabir’s timeless teachings

Magnificent Kabir Bhawan inaugurated at Kabir Nagar, Bari Brahmana amid devotional fervour

Jammu: A magnificent Kabir Bhawan dedicated to the revered saint and spiritual philosopher Kabir was inaugurated today at Kabir Nagar, Bari Brahmana amid deep religious devotion and spiritual enthusiasm. The sacred shrine was formally inaugurated by former Minister of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Mulla Ram, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The temple has been constructed through the tireless dedication and commitment of Joginder Lal Bhagat, a retired Director, former President of the All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha and presently Chairman of the Sabha.  The ceremony witnessed the presence of prominent members of the All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha, community leaders and a large gathering of devotees who assembled to celebrate the historic occasion and seek blessings.

Addressing the devotees, Mulla Ram congratulated the organisers and appreciated the noble initiative of establishing a temple dedicated to Kabir, whose teachings continue to inspire humanity with the ideals of truth, equality, compassion and universal brotherhood. He remarked that such spiritual centres serve as guiding lights for society, strengthening moral values and promoting harmony among people from all walks of life.

Speaking further, Mulla Ram said that the teachings of Kabir remain profoundly relevant in today’s world, where society needs the guiding principles of truth, simplicity and mutual respect more than ever before. He emphasized that Sant Kabir’s message transcends barriers of caste, creed and religion, reminding humanity of the importance of unity and spiritual awakening. He expressed hope that the newly inaugurated temple would emerge as a centre of devotion and moral learning, inspiring people to follow the path of righteousness and contribute towards building a harmonious and enlightened society.

Speaking on the occasion, Joginder Lal Bhagat expressed heartfelt gratitude to all devotees, well-wishers and members of the Sabha who extended their support in making the sacred project a reality. He said the temple symbolizes collective faith and devotion and stands as a humble tribute to the eternal teachings of Sant Kabir.

Bhagat further emphasized that the temple will not only serve as a place of worship but also as a centre for spiritual enlightenment, community interaction and dissemination of the profound philosophy of Kabir among the younger generation. Joginder Lal Bhagat reiterated his resolve to continue working for social harmony and to promote the ideals of simplicity, humility and righteousness as advocated by the great saint.

President of the All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha, Shamsher Chand, while speaking on the occasion, appreciated the unwavering dedication of Joginder Lal Bhagat in establishing the temple. He expressed hope that the shrine would emerge as a prominent spiritual landmark where devotees can gather to reflect upon and follow the timeless message of peace, equality and devotion propagated by Kabir.

Among others present on the occasion were Janak Raj, General Secretary of the All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha; Subash Bhagat, Vice President of the Sabha; Tilak Raj, Ex-Sarpanch Salher and Vice President of the Sabha; Bhushan Dogra; and Narinder Bhagat, President Megh Sabha, along with several prominent citizens and devotees who participated in the auspicious ceremony and offered prayers for peace, harmony and prosperity.
