Jammu, 06-01-2024: Nami Dogri Sanstha held a special Multilingual Kavi Goshti Exclusively on Environment. The Mushaira was Presided over by Brij Mohan a renowned Dogri Lyricist and Music Composer.
Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS Compered the programme . Poetry on various dimensions of the Environment was recited by eminent poets of Dogri, Hindi, Urdu, Pahari, and Punjabi.
The poets covered environmental concerns like Deforestation, Polluting Rivers, depletion of Rich Biodiversity, Air Pollution, Climate Change, and Loosening the Relationship between man and nature.
Prof. Anupama Sharma, Paron NDS in her, Opening remarks said that the NDS Constitution also provides work for the environment, and social issues besides the protection and propagation of Dogri Language and Duggar Culture which is its Primary Objective. She further said that growing drug abuse especially in our youth is a matter of grave concern. The writers and artists shall have to play their role in this context she observed.

Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila President NDS appealed the young and budding Dogri Writers and Artists to Join NDS to utilise the platform to refine and enhance their talent.
