Srinagar,12-04-2024 : In Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference has revealed its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Former chief minister Omar Abdullah has been nominated to contest from the Baramulla Lok Sabha constituency, as announced by the party’s president, Farooq Abdullah, during a press conference held in the region. Omar Abdullah, a prominent figure in Kashmiri politics, will be representing the National Conference in the north Kashmir region’s Baramulla Parliamentary seat.
Additionally, the National Conference disclosed that Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, a well-known Shia leader, will be contesting from the Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, which has historically been a stronghold for the party. This announcement underscores the party’s strategic selection of candidates to compete in key constituencies across Jammu and Kashmir.
