KISHTWAR, JANUARY 22: Day 2 of the National Girl Child Week was marked by the conduct of series of awareness camps and paintings competition here at various educational institutions.
These activities were held under the supervision of the Nodal Officer BBBP, Anoop Kumar (AD Employment/ALC Kishtwar).
An awareness camp was organized by District Coordinator Mahila Shakti Kendra at AWC cherhar. The participant women were informed about the government schemes meant for their socio-economic development.
Similarly, an online slogan-writing, drawing, painting, and poetry competition based on the theme Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was organized with the school & college students of the district participating in it.
Scores of students participated and sent their entries for the competition. The competition was coordinated by Employment Officer, DE&CC, Waseem Hassan khan.
