Jammu 17th July, 2025: Diverse Colors of Jammu & Kashmir’ a unique dance based presentation of Natrang Jammu was showcased here this evening at IIT Jammu in connection with 10th National Conference on Computer Vision Patron Image processing and Graphics (NCVPRIPG-25) organised by IIT Jammu. Conceived , designed and directed by Padamshree Balwant Thakur this mind blowing presentation mesmerised everyone with highly electrifying performance. This unique dance show aimed at projecting the cultural strengths of Jammu and Kashmir and its amazing cultural coexistence brilliantly conveyed a larger message from Jammu and kashmir to pan India audience. Through such performances and cultural presentations, Natrang Jammu is serving a larger cause of culture and its projecting the excellence and brilliance of Jammu and Kashmir to National/International audience Performed by the majority of proud G20 artists of Natrang, this international class show kept the entire audiences spellbound at every stimulating moment of stage action of brilliant artists of Natrang. Prominent among those who graced the occasion included Dr. Badri Narayan Subudhi, Dr. Anop Namdhadiri, Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Rout and Dr. Brajender Singh Sengar.
‘Diverse Colors of Jammu Kashmir’ is a unique cultural album of Jammu and Kashmir showcasing the variegated variety of different colours, rhythms, costumes, design patterns and artistic expressions, expressed through the diverse dances of J&K. This amazing bouquet of rarest dance traditions unfolded the mesmerizing artistic traditions of the crown of incredible India. Each dance presentation despite being different from the other in rhythm and pace was artistically and aesthetically blended with each other so as to present their harmony and wonderful correlation.
Jammu Kashmir has a diverse blend of many cultures. It has a composite culture created by people from different religions. The cultural significance and the amazing diversity of this place is great. The people of J&K have made huge contributions towards the world culture in the form of their arts, performing arts, crafts, literature, oral histories, science, and philosophy. Most of the world visits here to experience the tradition and culture of J&K. The presentation ‘Colors of Jammu & Kashmir’ expresses the true essence of the cultural ethos of this region. Artists who brilliantly depicted the requisite energy and festivity included Sunny Mujoo (Choreographer), Kananpreet Kaur, Suhani Bhasin, Suneha Angural, Sana Chauhan, Aryan Sharma, Amit Rana, Arun Dev Verma, Arun Sharma, Vansh Pandotra, Shahid Salaria, Rohit Rajput, Radhika Khajuria, Janvi Bloria, Mahi Thakur, Khushi, Antriksha Rathore, Vanshika and Suhani. The programme was ably conducted by Sumeet Sharma.
