Natrang’s Theatre Camp-2023: From Acting to Asanas – A Holistic Experience

10-06-2023 : Natrang, a renowned theater organization, recently organized an engaging event called “Fun and Fitness with Yoga” as part of its Summer Theatre Camp-2023. The session, facilitated by Ayush J&K, was a resounding success and provided the participating children with a valuable introduction to the fundamentals of Yoga, including Asana, Breathing, and Chanting.

The event was made possible through collaboration with the Directorate of Ayush J&K and the Government Ayurvedic Hospital in Jammu. With their support, a specialized program was tailored to the needs of the Natrang Children Theatre Workshop participants, enlightening them about the numerous health and fitness benefits associated with Yoga.

Dr. Arun Gupta, a respected figure from the Government Ayurvedic Hospital, led the session, demonstrating various Asanas, Pranayama, and Mudras to the enthusiastic children. The practical experience allowed them to delve deeper into the world of Yoga and understand its transformative potential.

In addition to the “Fun and Fitness with Yoga” program, the ongoing Natrang Theatre Camp-2023 aims to prepare a captivating full-length play. This production will be presented before larger audiences, offering them the opportunity to witness a remarkable children’s play that emerges as a culmination of the summer theatre camp.
