Srinagar, 06 Nov: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Monday sought effective arrangements on the annual Urs observance of Hazrat Shah Asrar-ud-Din Wali (RA) to be observed at his revered Shrine Darbar-e-Asrariya in Kishtwar.
In a joint statement party Provincial President Jammu Ratan Lal Gupta, Senior leaders Sajad Ahmad Kichloo, Khalid Najeeb Suharwardhy, Sajad Shaheen, Aijaz Jan, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad have appealed the district administration to make ample arrangements for the hassle free conduct of the Urs Sharief.
The leaders said that the holy shrine is considered as one of the major attractions in Kishtwar as on this day a large number of devotees throng his shrine seeking to get blessings and their wishes fulfilled this making it imperative for the administration to work in tandem with the shrine administration to ensure all possible facilities to the devotees.
They also implored upon the divisional administration Jammu to give necessary directions to all the line departments in Kishtwar to provide adequate drinking water, power supply, transport facilities, Medicare to the expected public rush at the shrine. They asked the transport authorities to ensure adequate transport facilities for the devotees during odd hours so that the people visiting the shrine would safely reach their respective destinations. The leaders also stressed upon the concerned municipal authorities to maintain sanitation and cleanliness in and around the Shrine premises.
