NC dedicated to addressing the concerns of the Sikh community: JS Azad 

“Omar Abdullah government is actively working to rectify the shortcomings of last 10 years”

Srinagar, 25 Nov: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Minority Wing Convenor, Sardar JS Azad on Sunday said that the Omar led government is committed to lead all sections of the society towards development and progress.

He made these comments while addressing a meeting of the minority wing in Baramulla. Prominent among those who were present in the meeting include District President Barmulla Shahid Ali Shah, DP Women’s Wing Neelofar Masood, Minority Wing functionary Amit Raina.

He stated that the party is fully committed to addressing all concerns of the Sikh Community. He emphasized that the Omar Abdullah-led government is well aware of the issues faced by the Sikh Community and is prepared to take necessary actions to resolve them. 

“Sikh youth are facing unemployment just like any other youth in the Valley. We have been vocal about inclusion of Punjabi language, high unemployment rates among Sikh youth, and the inadequate utility services in Sikh-inhabited areas,” he said adding, “Omar Abdullah government is actively working to rectify the shortcomings of the last 10 years.”
