NC Trade Union gears up for Budgam By-Elections, Vows support for Aga Syed Mehmood

Srinagar, 21 Oct: Ahead of the Budgam by-elections, the Convenor of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Trade Union (NCTU) GM Hamdard today chaired a meeting with wing functionaries.

The meeting, held at the party’s headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, witnessed active participation from office bearers, trade representatives, and grassroots workers associated with NCTU.

Hamdard urged the functionaries to get battle-ready for the upcoming by-elections and work in unison to ensure a decisive victory for the party’s candidate, Aga Syed Mehmood. He called for enhanced coordination between wings and booth-level teams to maximize voter engagement and turnout.

“The by-election in Budgam is not just about winning a seat; it’s about reaffirming the people’s faith in the National Conference’s legacy of service, integrity, and inclusive development,” said Hamdard.

“We must reach every shop, every household, and every locality to ensure the message of our candidate, Aga Syed Mehmood, resonates strongly across the constituency.”

The meeting concluded with a unanimous pledge by the functionaries to intensify campaign efforts, strengthen booth-level presence, and work collectively to uphold the party’s banner in Budgam.
