NCC Cadets Commemorate Gen Zorawar Singh Martyrdom Day in Jammu

Jammu, 12-12-2023 : The National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets participated fervently in the commemoration of Gen Zorawar Singh Martyrdom Day organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Ex-Servicemen League. The event, graced by esteemed dignitaries including the Chief Guest Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, Mr Manoj Sinha, the Divisional Commissioner Jammu,      IG Jammu, provided a poignant opportunity for the cadets to honor the supreme sacrifice made by Gen Zorawar Singh.
The Chief Guest, Lt Gov Manoj Sinha, and other dignitaries, including President JKESL Lt Gen RK Sharma, AVSM, SM (Retd), Maj Gen GS Jamwal, AVSM, SM (Retd), Mr. GC Charak, Ex MLC, Brig VK Sharma, VSM, DDG, JK&L DTE, and several Veterans of JAK RIF, paid their respects to the valiant Gen Zorawar Singh. During the event, the NCC cadets gained valuable insights into the heroic legacy of Gen Zorawar Singh and the indomitable spirit of the armed forces. The Lt Governor and other esteemed guests shared their experiences and wisdom, fostering a deeper understanding among the cadets about the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers.
