Education Minister Pralhad Joshi says updated learning material is being prepared on a mission-mode basis as curriculum reforms continue under the NEP framework.

NEW DELHI, Sep 3: The Union Government is preparing revised NCERT textbooks for Classes 10 to 12 as part of efforts to align school education with ongoing curriculum reforms.

Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi said the updated textbooks are being developed in mission mode while addressing the 66th Foundation Day celebrations of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

The revision is expected to support the broader transformation of school education and bring learning material in line with evolving academic requirements.

NCERT plays a central role in developing school curricula and educational resources used across the country. The textbook revision for senior classes comes as the education system continues to implement changes linked to the National Education Policy.
