NEW DELHI, Sept 7: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to release the provisional answer key for NEET PG 2026, marking the first time candidates will receive public access to the key for the postgraduate medical entrance examination.
The move follows a Supreme Court direction requiring the examination authority to make candidates’ raw scores and answer keys publicly available, strengthening transparency in the conduct and evaluation of the test.
The release of the provisional key is expected to give medical aspirants an opportunity to review the answers used for evaluation and raise objections within the stipulated process, if they identify discrepancies.
NEET PG is conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses across participating medical institutions in India. Thousands of medical graduates appear for the examination each year, making clarity in the assessment process important for candidates competing for limited seats.
