NEW DELHI, Aug 15: Streaming platforms have rolled out a diverse line-up of films and series this weekend, giving viewers a wide selection of Bollywood dramas, reality shows, thrillers and international content during the Independence Day break.
Among the major Hindi releases is Cocktail 2, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. The romantic comedy-drama explores changing relationships after the arrival of an old friend, adding emotional complications to the story.
Another notable release is Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, a reality format featuring 21 celebrity contestants. The show is hosted by Karan Johar and introduces a competitive format built around challenging tasks.
International audiences also have fresh options, with Reacher Season 4 arriving on Prime Video. The new season puts Jack Reacher at the centre of another dangerous conspiracy and draws from Lee Child’s novel Gone Tomorrow.
