UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 02: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib today flagged off an Ambulance equipped with basic life support for catering to emergency situations on the Udhampur-Chenani stretch of National Highway.
Speaking to Media, the DC apprised that the Ambulance has been donated by the National Highway Authority of India on the request of the District Administration. The DC added that 3 Ambulances are already stationed on Udhampur, Chenani NH stretch, and also thanked the UT Government, NHAI for donating this Ambulance. The DC said the Udhampur Administration is committed to strengthening the infrastructure facilities on NH.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Syed Khan, DHO, Dr. Mohd Yaseen, Secretary, District Red Cross Society, and other officers besides representatives of NHAI were present on the occasion.
