New Delhi, Dec 04 : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday launched extensive multi-state searches in connection with a case involving illegal trafficking of arms from Uttar Pradesh to various districts in Bihar.
Officials confirmed that raids were being conducted at 22 locations across Bihar, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh as part of the ongoing investigation. The operations aim to uncover networks involved in the smuggling of illegal ammunition and bring those responsible to justice.
Authorities emphasized that the probe targets the supply chain of illicit arms and seeks to prevent the circulation of weapons that could threaten public safety and law enforcement efforts in the region.
