Mumbai, Dec 07 : Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially ended their 17-year marriage, finalizing a divorce that prioritizes their two daughters, Faith, 15, and Sunday, 17. The settlement was filed in court on January 6, just three months after Kidman cited irreconcilable differences to initiate proceedings.
In a surprisingly amicable split, both stars have waived spousal and child support. Each will cover their own legal fees, making the divorce settlement “very clean,” according to a source familiar with the arrangement. The couple remains focused on ensuring their children feel loved, stable, and secure, free from financial or public conflicts.
The parenting plan outlines that the daughters’ primary residence will be at Kidman’s home for 306 days a year, while Urban will spend 59 days annually with them, including alternate weekends. Both parents will jointly make major decisions regarding Faith and Sunday’s education, health, and overall well-being, and the agreement emphasizes that neither parent, nor their extended families, may speak negatively about the other.
With the divorce finalized, Kidman and Urban aim to maintain a harmonious co-parenting relationship, putting their daughters’ happiness at the forefront.
