JAMMU: Nitish Mahajan, Co-Incharge of the Social Media Department for BJP Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirmed the commitment of the BJP government towards the comprehensive development of all segments of society, transcending differences of caste, color, and creed.
While interacting with youth of Bathindi area, Nitish Mahajan extensively discussed the wide array of welfare and startup initiatives launched by the central government. He emphasized that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is dedicated to addressing the needs and aspirations of all sections of society.
He highlighted significant accomplishments, such as the provision of free ration to approximately 81.35 crore impoverished individuals through the National Food Security Act and extending benefits to around 9.59 crore beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). He also underscored the inclusive approach of the government in its COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with more than 2.20 crore vaccine doses administered across the nation without discrimination based on caste, color, or creed. He urged the youth to recognize the efforts made by the government in prioritizing the welfare of every citizen.
The senior BJP leader encouraged the youth to explore diverse avenues for their future. He advised against relying solely on government jobs and highlighted the presence of esteemed institutions like the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) within Jammu and Kashmir. He called upon the youth to take a proactive approach towards entrepreneurship and job creation, positioning themselves as contributors to the nation’s economic growth rather than being mere job seekers.
