NMOPS J&K Unit Reasi organise meeting and raise burning issues of NPS employees

REASI,03.01.2022:  National Movement for Old Pension Scheme(NMOPS) Jammu and Kashmir unit Reasi organized a meeting under the leadership of district President Sushil Kumar Sharma the meeting was attended by UT Vice-President Raman Kumar and UT General secretary Rohit Sharma and UT joint secretary Raghuvir Singh.

 Speaking on the occasion general secretary Mr. Rohit Sharma demanded resolution of salary issues of NPS employees who often suffer, due to frequent non-release of their monthly salaries and requested to LG administration of J&k to restore the old pension scheme in favour of NPS employees and scrap new pension scheme. UT vice president Raman Sharma also spoke on the occasion and appealed to the lieutenant governor to restore old pension so that employees could live post-retirement life happily after service of even more than 30 years, As the benefits of old pension are still given MLA’s and MP’s and why not given to employees.

 On the occasion, Sushil Sharma raised various issues like the Restoration of the old pension scheme which was already in place prior to 01. 01. 2010, restoration of GPF provision for NPS employees, timely sanctioning of grant under major heads 2071, implementation of family pension as already done for employees working under the central government.

 The district team also announced and expanded the District level body of NMOPS unit Reasi.
