No dearth of talent in Jammu region, students breaking records in academics, sports: Kavinder    

Proper counseling, guidance can change world of youths in J&K
JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday said there is no dearth of talent among youths in Jammu region and if they will be given proper counseling and guidance, sky is the limit for them.
The BJP stalwart said this after felicitating Muskan Gupta, daughter of Sham Gupta and Priya Gupta, who got 92 percent marks in 12th class CBSE exam. Kavinder Gupta along with Ankush Gupta Incharge Rashtriya Mahasampark Abhiyan and Kulbir Charak of BJP’s Sanskriti and Cultural Cell visited Muskan’s residence and felicitated her for achieving a brilliant result.
Kavinder while congratulating the parents of Muskan, said that youths in Jammu and Kashmir have been excelling both in academics as well as sports showing the world that there is no lack of talent in J&K. He said that what was missing earlier was the will power of successive dispensations which seldom provided required edifice to the youths to show their skills and excel in studies and sports.
Kavinder said that PM Narendra Modi’s focused attention after the year 2014 has brought in needful changes in the region and today there is no dearth of infrastructure whether it is the field of sports or educational institutions as lately Jammu region has transformed into an education hub. He said that others should take cue from the success of Muskan and toe her line to ensure more such occasions for the UT to feel proud and elated.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that BJP shall go and felicitate all the sons and daughters of the soil who have achieved milestones in 10th and 12th exams, and also those who had given phenomenal performance in sports in national and international arenas to encourage others to make a mark in the field of education and sports.
