NSIC Signs MoU with Kotak Mahindra Bank to Boost Credit Access for MSMEs

MoU signed during MSME Conclave in Guwahati to enhance financial access and growth opportunities for small businesses.

Guwahati, Nov 4 : In a major step toward enhancing financial support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kotak Mahindra Bank under its MSME Credit Facilitation Program.

The agreement was formalized during the MSME Conclave held in Guwahati on October 30, 2025, in the presence of Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State for MSME, Government of India.

The MoU was exchanged between Shri V. Raghunath, Deputy General Manager (Finance), NSIC, and Shri Ajay Mittal, Senior Executive Vice President, Kotak Mahindra Bank. The signing ceremony was graced by Dr. S. S. Acharya, CMD, NSIC; Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), NSIC; Shri Mara Kocho, MD of NEHHDC; and Shishir Jha, Additional EPFO Commissioner.

The collaboration aims to facilitate easier and faster access to credit for MSMEs, helping them expand their operations, improve competitiveness, and contribute to India’s economic growth.

Through this partnership, NSIC and Kotak Mahindra Bank will work together to streamline credit processes and provide customized financial solutions for MSMEs across sectors.
