New Delhi, June 30: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 results, paving the way for undergraduate admissions across central, state, deemed and participating universities. Lakhs of students who appeared for the examination can now download their scorecards from the official CUET portal.
With the results announced, universities including the University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and several other participating institutions are expected to begin their counselling and admission process shortly. Each university will prepare its own merit list based on CUET scores and programme-specific eligibility criteria.
The NTA clarified that the scorecard only reflects candidates’ performance and does not guarantee admission. Universities will separately announce counselling schedules, cut-offs, document verification procedures and seat allotment timelines.
Education experts advised students to regularly monitor the admission portals of their preferred universities and keep all required documents ready for verification. Institutions are also expected to release detailed admission guidelines over the coming days.
The declaration of results marks the beginning of one of India’s largest undergraduate admission cycles, with thousands of seats available across multiple disciplines.
