New Delhi, Sep 17 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released its proposed examination calendar for the 2026–27 academic year, outlining dates for 14 major entrance, eligibility and admission related examinations.
The schedule covers several important national level tests, including the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2027, University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), Common University Entrance Test for postgraduate admissions (CUET PG) and CMAT.
According to the calendar, JEE Main 2027 is scheduled to begin on January 22, 2027. The December 2026 session of UGC NET is scheduled to commence from December 14.
The announcement is expected to help students and examination aspirants plan their preparation and application timelines for the upcoming academic cycle.
Candidates are advised to keep track of official NTA notifications for detailed application schedules, examination centres, eligibility requirements and other instructions, as dates mentioned in the calendar are part of the proposed schedule.
