NTA Revises CUET-UG 2026 Exam Schedule Tests to Be Held on May 31, June 6 and 7

Revised CUET-UG schedule announced for postponed examinations; admit cards for May 31 test available online

NEW DELHI, May 28: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a revised schedule for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026 examinations that were postponed due to Eid-ul-Azha.

As per the updated notification, the deferred examinations will now be conducted on May 31, June 6 and June 7 across designated centres in the country.

The testing agency has also released admit cards for candidates scheduled to appear in the May 31 examination. Students can access and download their hall tickets through the official CUET portal.

The NTA stated that admit cards for the June 6 and June 7 examinations will be issued shortly and advised aspirants to regularly visit the official website for further updates and instructions.

Introduced in 2022, CUET-UG serves as a common entrance platform for admissions to undergraduate programmes offered by Central universities, several state institutions and participating private universities.

The examination was launched to streamline the admission process by replacing multiple entrance tests with a single standardised assessment system covering language proficiency, domain subjects and general aptitude in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
