Operation Sindoor a New Era of Justice, Not Vengeance: PM Lauds Forces for Crushing Terror

9 Terror Bases Flattened in 22 Minutes: PM Modi Sends Stern Warning to Pakistan After Pahalgam Attack

Bikaner (Rajasthan), May 22: In a powerful and emotionally charged address from Bikaner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a clear and stern message to Pakistan, warning that any misadventure against India will come at an unbearable cost. Speaking publicly for the first time after the successful execution of Operation Sindoor—India’s swift military response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam—Modi revealed that nine of the most significant terror hideouts were eliminated in just 22 minutes, marking a resounding display of India’s military might and strategic precision.

Addressing a massive gathering in Palana, near the India-Pakistan border, the Prime Minister said, “The enemies of India have now witnessed the fury of a nation where sindoor (vermilion) can transform into barood (gunpowder).” Drawing a symbolic parallel between emotional strength and national resolve, he added, “Now, it’s not blood but sindoor that flows through Modi’s veins.”

He hailed the Indian Armed Forces for executing Operation Sindoor with unmatched coordination and efficiency, asserting that the Government had given complete operational freedom to the Army, Navy, and Air Force. “Our forces laid such a strategic trap that Pakistan was compelled to bend its knees,” he declared.

Reiterating India’s changed and assertive national security posture, the Prime Minister outlined three core principles emerging from Operation Sindoor:

    1. Terror attacks on India will evoke a powerful and decisive response.
    2. India will not be intimidated by nuclear threats or psychological warfare.
    3. There will be no distinction between terrorists and the governments that shelter them—both will be treated the same.

He criticized Pakistan for its persistent use of terrorism as a proxy war tactic, emphasizing that “Pakistan has always lost in direct combat with India, and hence has made terrorism its chosen weapon.” But this old game, he warned, “will no longer work.”

In a veiled reference to Pakistan’s failed attempt to target the Nal Air Base in Bikaner, Modi said the attack was repelled effectively with no damage caused. In stark contrast, India’s counterstrike damaged Pakistan’s Rahimyar Khan air base so severely that “no one knows when it will be operational again—it has been sent straight to the ICU.”

Recalling his rally in Churu following the 2019 Balakot airstrike, the Prime Minister reaffirmed his earlier pledge: “I had then vowed that I will not let this nation bend or perish. Today, I reaffirm that resolve—those who attempted to erase the sindoor of our mothers and sisters have been obliterated.”

He further said, “Those who dared spill the blood of Hindustan have paid for each drop. Those proud of their arms and terror networks are now buried beneath the ruins.”

Rejecting any scope for engagement with Pakistan, Modi categorically stated: “There will be no trade, no dialogue with Pakistan. The only conversation that remains is about Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.” He added that if Pakistan persists in sponsoring terrorism, it will be economically isolated. “Pakistan will have to beg for every penny, and it will be denied even India’s rightful share of water.”

The Prime Minister also touched upon international diplomacy following Operation Sindoor, stating that multi-party delegations from India are visiting countries around the globe to expose Pakistan’s involvement in state-sponsored terrorism and to reaffirm India’s right to self-defense. “The real face of Pakistan will now be unmasked before the world,” he said.

Stressing that national security is the foundation of development, he said, “Security and prosperity are inseparable. A strong and secure India in every corner is essential for achieving our vision of a developed India.”

In conclusion, the Prime Minister’s address served not only as a strong message to adversaries but also as a reassurance to the Indian public that national integrity and honor will be protected at all costs. With Operation Sindoor, he underlined, a new chapter of India’s military and strategic doctrine has been written—one defined by swiftness, decisiveness, and unshakable resolve.
