Jammu, 07 May 2026: J&K BJP, led by its President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma, remembered the valour, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the Indian Armed Forces during a programme organized at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, on the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor.
Senior party leaders, and activists participated in the event and paid tribute to the brave soldiers who displayed exceptional courage in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and integrity.
J&K BJP Vice-President Rajiv Charak, former MLA Ashwani Sharma, Mahila Morcha President Neha Mahajan, along with other senior leaders, and Mahila Morcha team, were present on the occasion.
Sat Sharma, addressing on the occasion, said that Operation Sindoor stands as a shining symbol of the unmatched bravery, discipline, and patriotism of the Indian Armed Forces. He said that the operation reflected India’s firm resolve to protect its borders and national interests against every challenge. He stated that the nation remains eternally indebted to the brave soldiers who risk their lives to ensure the safety and security of every citizen.
Sat Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the morale and capabilities of the Armed Forces have been significantly strengthened, while the country has adopted a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and threats to national security. He emphasized that every citizen must take inspiration from the courage and dedication of the armed personnel and work unitedly for the progress and unity of the nation.
Rajiv Charak, while speaking on the occasion, said that the sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces can never be forgotten. He stated that Operation Sindoor demonstrated the professionalism and determination of India’s security forces in protecting the motherland under the most challenging circumstances. He added that the BJP has always stood firmly with the Armed Forces and remains committed to honouring their sacrifices.
Ashwani Sharma said that the anniversary of Operation Sindoor reminds the nation of the supreme sacrifices rendered by the brave soldiers in the line of duty. He said that the courage displayed by the Armed Forces serves as a source of inspiration for future generations and strengthens the spirit of nationalism among the youth.
Neha Mahajan said that the brave soldiers of India symbolize courage, dedication, and selfless service to the nation. She said that the women of the country also take immense pride in the valour of the Armed Forces and stand shoulder to shoulder in supporting the cause of national unity and integrity.
