Patanjali Gurukulam, Devprayag, Stands Tall as a Symbol of Sanskrit and Sanatan Pride

Gurukulam tops state level Shastra competitions, students to represent Uttarakhand nationally

New Delhi, Jan 21 : Patanjali Gurukulam, Devprayag has emerged as a leading centre of Sanskrit education and Sanatan culture after delivering an outstanding performance at the state level Shastra competitions. The institution secured the highest number of medals, outperforming cultural colleges and universities from across Uttarakhand.

The prestigious competition was organised by the Central Sanskrit University at its Devprayag campus. Students from Patanjali Gurukulam, Moolya Gram participated in 18 events, winning first place in 11 competitions, second place in four, and third place in two one of the most remarkable performances in the event’s history.

Through this achievement, the students not only brought laurels to the Gurukulam but also strengthened the mission of preserving and promoting Sanskrit and Sanatan traditions. The success has further reinforced Patanjali Gurukulam’s reputation as a premier institution for traditional education in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

Congratulating the students, Acharya Balkrishna, General Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, praised their dedication and extended his best wishes for their continued success.

Students who secured first positions at the state level will now represent Uttarakhand at the national-level Shastra competitions scheduled to be held in Kanchipuram.

The event was attended by Sadhvi Devshruti, Principal of Patanjali Gurukulam Devprayag, along with Sadhvi Devashrita and other faculty members, who expressed pride in the students’ achievements and their commitment to Sanskrit and Sanatan values.
