NEW DELHI, Oct 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the people on the occasion of Navratri, praying for happiness, peace, prosperity and good health in every household.
Navratri is a nine day Hindu festival dedicated to the worship of the divine feminine and celebrated with devotion across the country.
In a message posted in Hindi on X, Modi described the festival as an important occasion for the worship of Shakti, the divine feminine power. He sought the blessings of Mother Jagdamba for the well-being of all citizens and expressed hope that the festival would strengthen the spirit of national unity and contribute to the country’s continued progress.
The Prime Minister’s message highlighted the values of faith, harmony and collective advancement associated with the auspicious occasion.
