Jammu, June 17: A significant event took place in  BJP District  Jammu South as part of the Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan program, where “Beneficiary Sammelan” was held on today in Bahu Constituency in the esteem presence of Hardeep Puri Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs in the Government of India, here at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar Jammu. The event marked nine years since the current BJP government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi came into power. The beneficiaries Sammelan (Laabhartis) organize under the Presidency of Rekha Mahajan BJP District President Jammu South.
Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing and Urban Affairs along with Rajya Sabha MP Gulam Ali Khatana, BJP National Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, former Minister Priya Sethi, District Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, and Former District President Vinay Gupta held an interaction with the people who have availed benefits of various schemes Narendra Modi government and also addressed a largely attended meeting of these people.
District General Secretaries Pushpinder Singh, Akash Chopra, Mandal Presidents Bharat Bhushan, Neeraj Puri, Councillors Sharda Devi, Rahul Kumar, Neena Gupta and a large number of Beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
Addressing a large gathering of beneficiaries of schemes started by PM Modi, Union Minister Hardeep Puri said that no other Government in the past was so serious about the betterment of people belonging to poor and marginalized sections. He said that history will stand witness to the fact that India under PM Modi union territory of J&K touched new heights in development. Hardeep Puri said BJP has framed policies for the benefit of needy persons as true beneficiaries, therefore, garnering support cutting across caste lines and breaking the backs of caste-based regional political outfits.
Khatana said that Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister in 2014 and during the past nine years, he has written a new chapter in the history of India through his developmental projects and welfare schemes, which have brought progress and prosperity in the country.
Narinder Singh while elaborating on schemes like Ujjwala, Har Ghar Jal, Swachh Bharat, and COVID relief package worth 20 lakh crore rupees, She said the public-friendly decisions have helped in uplifting the agriculture and infrastructure sector besides helping the economy in J&K.
Vibodh said PM Modi does not shy away from taking tough and timely decisions and as a result, India has today achieved a cent percent vaccination even as most developed countries are still lagging.
Priya Sethi also addressed the beneficiary Sammelan where she spoke about the various projects and schemes which have been extended to J&K. She expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for taking a keen interest in the betterment of all segments of Society.
Rekha Mahajan thanked hundreds of beneficiaries of central schemes like Skill Development, Mudra and Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana including other beneficiaries were present on the occasion to share their stories with the BJP leadership.
